General
By undertaking a counselling session with Anne-Marie Taylor, t/a Seen Felt Heard Counselling you accept that all information provided, and advice given is a suggestion. It is up to you to consider whether this suits your personal circumstances and to decide your own course of action. We are not responsible for and will not be liable to you or anyone else for any action or decision taken in reliance upon information contained in your session or on this website. Our fees are in consideration of our time and expertise regardless of the therapeutic outcome.
Your sessions with Anne-Marie Taylor t/a Seen Felt Heard Counselling are not intended as a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. You should seek the advice of a qualified medical practitioner before commencing any treatment or if you have any questions related to your mental or physical health, physical fitness, or medical conditions. We recommend that you do not stop or alter any treatment you are currently receiving without prior consent of your doctor or mental health advisor.
Each client is considered on an individual basis and acceptance into, and continuation of counselling sessions is entirely at the discretion of Anne-Marie Taylor t/a Seen Felt Heard Counselling. No reason for declining or continuing working with a client need be given. Any individual who is under the influence of substances, including alcohol or drugs on the day of the session, will not be seen or treated.

Payment and refund policy
All fees must be paid in full prior or on the day of the session via EFT or Stripe or PayPal.
Fees and promotions are at the discretion of Anne-Marie Taylor t/a Seen Felt Heard Counselling and may change without notice.
The following cancellation fees apply:
Within 24 hours of appointment time: 100% of fee
No show: 100% of fee
I understand that things come up and you may occasionally need to cancel or
reschedule. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please give me as much notice as possible as I set your appointment time aside especially for you. A cancellation fee of 100% applies if the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice (business days). Weekends and public holidays do not count as business days, (i.e., Monday appointments need to be cancelled on a Friday to avoid a cancellation fee).
Cancellations and missed appointments for Victims Services clients

Victims Services will pay for up to two missed appointments per client, on each of the clients’ counselling claims.

Missed appointments are defined as appointments where the client did not attend and did not provide more than one business days’ notice. Victims Services will not pay for an appointment where the client has given more than one business days’ notice of the cancellation.
I understand that things come up and you may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please give me as much notice as possible as I set your appointment time aside especially for you. If you cancel an appointment with less than one business day notice, I will have to apply to Victims Services for it as a missed appointment.
Appointments

Each session is 60 minutes long. It is important that you arrive to your appointments on time.

If you arrive late, the session time will be reduced, and we will conclude at the agreed time.
Rescheduling
Clients are encouraged to reschedule as soon as possible if they are unable to make their appointment time.
Clients are able to reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before their scheduled time via www.seenfeltheardcounselling.com/book-online. If an unexpected event occurs on the day of their appointment which means they can no longer attend, they need to advise of their inability to make their appointment and request a new time by emailing hello@seenfeltheardcounselling.com or call 0493 426 412.
Note: there may be occasions, due to scheduling conflicts, when I need to arrange an alternative time for your appointment slot. I will contact you to arrange a suitable time, should this be necessary.
Contact outside sessions
It’s best for us to deal with all matters related to our work together in our sessions. I ask that you bring anything you want to discuss to our sessions and avoid sharing things that happened or feelings via text or email. If you need to get in touch with me outside of hours to cancel or change and appointment or for any other admin matters, you can contact me by phone, regular text message or email.

​Privacy and Confidentiality
Counselling Sessions are confidential, and I will not divulge any information about you to anyone without your permission.
There are limitations to confidentiality that apply to exceptional circumstances:

If you tell me and/or I have reasons to believe that you are likely to hurt yourself or others it is both my duty of care and a legal obligation to call a relevant service that may intervene and assist you in order to protect you and/or others.

If I am required by law to disclose information about you and/or our interactions.

I attend regular clinical supervision as part of my professional development and to meet the standards of my association. I may discuss our work together in that context. This is to ensure that the quality of my work is of high standards.
